St Francis Hall (SFH) is the hub of the Multi-faith Chaplaincy at the University. It offers a place where students and staff of all faiths can meet for worship and social events.
St Francis Hall has several different rooms and spaces that are available for use by individuals and groups. These include:

The Cadbury Room is the original Chaplaincy hall.
It has a capacity of 100 people and can be booked at any time. Food and drink can be served in this room. The Cadbury Room has chairs and large tables, a lectern, a piano and a wooden floor. When not in use by groups, it can be used for private prayer. |

The Worship Room is the largest room in SFH and the main prayer room.
It has a capacity of 200 people and can be booked at any time. Food and drink is not permitted in this room. The Worship Room has chairs, large and small tables, lecterns, a piano and an AV unit (including projector and sound system). When not in use by groups, it can be used for private prayer. |

Oasis is a welcoming space for individuals to relax or work and includes a full kitchen for use by all.
It has an overall capacity of 100 people, but can be split into two separate ends. The Kitchen End can hold about 40 people and the Lounge End can hold about 60 people. Oasis can be booked before 9.00am and after 5.00pm on weekdays during term time and all day at weekends and during vacations. Oasis has normal and comfy chairs, small and large tables, a piano and the kitchen. Between 9.00am and 5.00pm on weekdays in term time, all are welcome to use Oasis to work, meet friends or simply relax. |

The Meeting Room is a small room suitable for small group meetings and private prayer or meditation. It has a capacity of 12 people and can be booked until 6.00pm during term time and any time during vacations. Food and drink is allowed in this room. The Meeting Room has chairs and a small table. It is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. |

The Quiet Space is a small room off Oasis dedicated to private prayer and meditation. It can hold up to 4 people at a time, although users are asked to remain silent to respect other users. It is not bookable, but is available to use at any time that SFH is open. There are cushions, prayer mats, some religious texts and spaces to store any personal items. There is also an Islamic Prayer Room in the Guild of Students. |
St Francis Hall is normally open between about 9.00am and 10.00pm, but can be used earlier or later if required. Any member of the University can book a room.
St Francis Hall is situated next to the Guild of Students by the East Gate. It is building number O2 in the Orange Zone of the Edgbaston Campus Map (PDF, 109 KB, opens new window).
